Services & Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance should be done twice a year on
Heat Pumps and once a year on gas, oil and electric heating
and air conditioning units to main efficiently and heat/cool
properly. Below is a checklist of a few of the service
procedures.
Heat Pump &
Air Condition Unit
- Check freon pressures
- Inspect condenser and evaporator coils
- Inspect for dirty filters
- Test for proper volt and amp draw
- Temperature Reading
- Test relays, contactors, reversing valves, thermostats, defrosters and all electrical controls and wiring
- Make any needed recommendations
Electric
Furnaces
- Test heat strips and sequencers for maximum heat efficiency.
- Inspect inside coil for proper air flow
- Oil and grease motors if required
- Temperature reading
- Check out control wiring, relays and test amp draw
- Inspect for dirty filters
- Check thermostat
- Make any needed recommendations
Oil and Gas
Furnaces / Boilers
- Pull and Clean burners if necessary
- Vacuum out furnace
- Oil and grease motors if required
- Temperature reading
- Check out control wiring, relays and test amp draw
- Inspect for dirty filters
- Check thermostat
- Make any needed recommendations
