Services & Maintenance

Servicing Air Conditioners, Furnaces and Heat PumpsPreventive Maintenance should be done twice a year on Heat Pumps and once a year on gas, oil and electric heating and air conditioning units to main efficiently and heat/cool properly. Below is a checklist of a few of the service procedures.

Heat Pump &
Air Condition Unit

  1. Check freon pressures
  2.  Inspect condenser and evaporator coils
  3. Inspect for dirty filters
  4. Test for proper volt and amp draw
  5. Temperature Reading
  6. Test relays, contactors, reversing valves, thermostats, defrosters and all electrical controls and wiring
  7. Make any needed recommendations

Electric
Furnaces

  1. Test heat strips and sequencers for maximum heat efficiency.
  2. Inspect inside coil for proper air flow
  3. Oil and grease motors if required
  4. Temperature reading
  5.  Check out control wiring, relays and test amp draw
  6.  Inspect for dirty filters
  7.  Check thermostat
  8. Make any needed recommendations

Oil and Gas
Furnaces / Boilers

  1. Pull and Clean burners if necessary
  2. Vacuum out furnace
  3. Oil and grease motors if required
  4. Temperature reading
  5. Check out control wiring, relays and test amp draw
  6.  Inspect for dirty filters
  7.  Check thermostat
